Located next to the Oakdale Dam on the south side of Lake Freeman in Monticello, The Oakdale Bar & Grill is a dive style American Bar & Grill.

The Oakdale Bar & Grill re-opened in February 2019. It is located next to the Oakdale Dam on the south side of Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana. Since then, the owners, Nick Blum, Dewey Brown, & Nicole Brown, have been motivated to not only continue the long legacy of The Oakdale, but they continue to provide a family friendly atmosphere with exceptional American Cuisine, Cold Beer, and Great Times.

The history of The Oakdale started back in 1925 when the Oakdale Dam was being constructed. Due to the number of men working on the construction, lodging & food was needed. That was when the Oakdale Inn was created. Through the last, nearly 100 years, this long standing establishment has been feeding the people of Monticello ever since.
